Rayissa applies her retail store experience, design experience, and her extensive customer market research knowledge to help stage client’s homes. This combined with over four years of interior design courses, workshops, lectures, and real-life practice have created a master home staging team. Sandy Bodnar: The Real Estate Whisperer
“For many people, it takes years for them to discover their career passion in life. For me, I discovered my career passion over 35 years ago when I first became a realtor. Guiding my buyers and sellers through the home buying and selling process is rewarding for both them and for myself.” Sandy Bodnar.
Sandy real estate career has been in Canada and the US. For the last twenty plus years, she has worked in the Toronto West communities and has emerged as a favourite realtor among clients and other realtors. With a zeal and strong drive in helping her clients sell and buy their homes, Sandy continues to grow her skills with educational courses, meeting with other experts, and keeping abreast of the Toronto real estate trends as well as the latest staging trends.
Over the years, Sandy has worked hard and been fortunate to have received many top sales awards. She’s also been featured on Microsoft/NBC Television network showcasing her expertise and understanding in dealing with special situations such as divorce and relocation.
When Sandy’s not in Toronto West, working with her clients to help them buy or sell a home, you can find her at her cottage in the summer, elbow deep in rich soil as she plants and maintains her gardens or relaxes on the deck in the summer afternoons. She also enjoys traveling with her husband either on day trips or vacations. And to relax at home, she has her kitties to keep her entertained; Ashez a seven year old large breed Maine coon cat weighing in at a healthy 35 pounds and her recent additions, two Bengal kittens named Tigger and Baby Girl who are keeping Sandy busy with their antics.

Rayissa Palmer: Marketing Guru, Expert Negotiator
“My whole career has always been about the customer experience – what influences it and how to make it better. I’m thrilled to be able to continue pursuing that passion in helping my clients find the home they’ve always wanted or to make their house as marketable as possible to help them sell quickly and at a great price.” Rayissa Palmer.
Rayissa has over fifteen years of marketing, advertising, and branding experience in Canada, the US, and Puerto Rico. Her main focus had been on helping companies tell their story to consumers and to solve their business problems while increasing customer satisfaction through effective marketing solutions. She has worked for and with many industry leaders including Transamerica Life Canada, Bank of America, ING, SunTrustMortgage, Pacific Life Insurance Company, ESPN, A&E, and The History Channel.
Early on, Rayissa was intrigued by understanding consumer behaviour and explored this further as a Managing Director with a boutique marketing and advertising firm called RED F in the US, providing branding, marketing, and advertising solutions to her Fortune 100 clients.
After years of having a ringside seat to her mother’s exciting career in real estate, Rayissa decided to take the plunge five years ago and join Sandy. Becoming a top performer within her first 18 months, Rayissa is continually educating herself through certified real estate classes, in-field research, and extensive market research to increase her real estate knowledge and expertise. She is the perpetual student, always learning more and how to be better.
When Rayissa is not helping her clients find or stage a home in Toronto West, you can find her basking in the glow after having planned her wedding in May 2016 to the love of her life and relaxing by cooking yummy culinary creations in the kitchen. Having just purchased a new home in the fall of 2016, Rayissa has even more extensive first-hand experience about the move process.

The Homes4Toronto team believe strongly in giving back to the community they live and work in. Sandy & Rayissa both strongly support local Mimico organizations, providing sponsorship and volunteering with the Mimico Residents Association for their annual Halloween Dance and other events as well as being a supporter of events at the local elementary school, St. Leo’s. In addition, together they sponsor an annual Food Drive for the Daily Bread Food Bank in Mimico, collecting non-perishable food items and donations that benefit those Mimico neighbours in need. And both actively support Canadian shoe designer Ron White’s Annual Shoe Drive, which collects gently used shoes and refurbishes them. Additionally, Sandy & Rayissa are regular road marshal’s complete with orange vests and walkie-talkies for Le Tour De Terra Cotta in Terra Cotta, Ontario (Caledon West).
Sandy annually supports the local Police’s charitable efforts to bring local sports and summer camp programs to kids in need. Rayissa is a strong arts proponent, supporting arts groups in Toronto by volunteering with organizations like Luminato and Soundstreams. Rayissa is also a regular volunteer with the Terra Cotta Community Centre.
Both Sandy and Rayissa strongly believe in giving back to the community and are continually committed to doing so.
Fun Fact: Food Network Canada’s Dinner Party Wars
All three ladies love to host parties and to cook. Sandy & Rayissa had the opportunity to do so on television on the Food Network Canada show, Dinner Party Wars, Season 2, which aired in September 2011 with hosts Chef Corbin Tomaszeski and etiquette expert Anthea Turner. Their episode was called Bird in Hand. Synopsis: “Policemen John and Chris prepare a British Isles menu but even the spicy discussion can’t distract from a serious meal delay. Dee and Mark’s red carpet event goes from glamour to guano when her cockatoos join the party!
